dirigibles are awesome

dirigibles are just the f*cking best, they float all slow and sh*t. Here are some fun facts about them
  • The first design was called the LZ-1 (Luftschiff Zeppelin 1)
  • dirigibles consisted of a massive, long rigid metal frame containing individual gas cells and are sometimes covered by fabric
  • The first airship was completed in the winter of 1899 and made its maiden flight in the summer on July 2, 1900
  • The LZ-1 Zeppelin airship was first flown for a short distance of 3.5 miles over a lake
  • It went 20 mph which is fast i guess
airship and dirigible are synonyms which i guess is a fun fact, i mean its definitely a fact i don't know how fun it is.
thats the hindenburg crashing

this is of the same dirigible crashing

the death penalty

I personally don't believe in the death penalty so this blog will have a bias, but I'll do my best to cover both sides. Some countries that still have the death penalty are China, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, North Korea. i don't know about you but i don't want to be on a list with any of those countries, I want to be on a list with Sweden Sweden's on all the best lists.
Some arguments for the death penalty are it provides closer for the victim or the victims family. I personally don't think that this is entirely true for some people it might be but not for everyone. another argument it acts as a deterrent. Their is no evidence to back this argument up. One more argument for capital punishment is that it costs less to just kill them. just like the previous argument this is inaccurate it actually costs less to keep them in prison then it does to kill them. Some arguments against the death penalty are that it the prisoners family have to suffer sing their loved one killed by the state. but the best argument against it is on ProCon.org where it says:
Ultimately, the moral question surrounding capital punishment in America has less to do with whether those convicted of violent crime deserve to die than with whether state and federal governments deserve to kill those whom it has imprisoned. The legacy of racial apartheid, racial bias, and ethnic discrimination is unavoidably evident in the administration of capital punishment in America

as you can see by the writing above i have bias against the death penalty because  i personally think that its barbaric and in humane. if we think we are the best species then why do we act so cruel to each other?
